Lamiaa Kamel established the Al-Rawi Award, launched in 2025 as part of the ninth edition of the Narrative Summit. The awards aim to encourage young creative content creators to produce works that highlight Egypt’s image and position as a leading force across various fields. The awards are sponsored by several Egyptian ministries, including the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The second edition aims to support young creative talent and strengthen a sense of belonging to the Egyptian identity. The awards’ jury includes prominent figures in creativity and media, such as Tarek Nour (Chair of the Jury), Tarek El-Ganaini, Lamiaa Kamel, Amy Mo’awad, Ahmed ‘Ebeid, Ahmed Wahba, and Karim Abu Goma’a.
