Australian actress Cate Blanchett is one of the most famous international artists who appeared in Egyptian films, at the beginning of her artistic life, when she was on a visit to Egypt when she was 18 years old. Due to her need for money, someone offered her to play the role of an extra in the movie “Crab” with the artist Ahmed Zaki, in exchange for a salary of 5 pounds and free falafel sandwiches.
