The biography

 

An Egyptian actor, his full name is Tarek Sabry Ahmed Awadallah. Born on August 6, 1980, in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Department of Architectural Engineering, in 2004.

 

He began his artistic career in the school acting team, but after joining the university he decided to devote himself to studying, and therefore he was unable to act during his university years.

 

After graduating, he joined some acting workshops and performed some plays in amateur theatres. In 2010, he decided to join the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting and Directing.

 

Before devoting himself to art, Tarek Sabry worked as a press correspondent on the programs “90 Minutes, Special Show,” and then as a broadcaster on the programs “Modern Star, Friends.” Then his real breakthrough came when he participated in a sitcom entitled “Beit Al Aila” in 2009.

 

After that, he presented many diverse artistic works on television, including: “Karioca, Doubt, Inheritance of the Wind, Dalaa Banat, Doctor of Gynecology, Superman’s Daughters, Hidden Worlds, House of Slaves, Professor and Head of Department, My Share and Your Share, The Big House, and The Choice.”

 

In cinema, he participated in a group of films such as: “Reda Hour,” “Party 9,” and “Barcode 615.”

 

Tarek Sabry took over the position of director of the Zamalek Theater after its reopening after it had been closed since the 1980s. He was also chosen as a jury member in many festivals, including: “The Sharm El Sheikh International Youth Theater Festival 2021, the Free International Theater Festival in Jordan 2022, Kuwait Theater Festival 2022.”
