The biography
Egyptian actress, full name is Salwa Mohamed Morsi Khattab. Born on February 26, 1959 in Cairo Governorate. She graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1978.
She began her artistic career in 1997 when director Henry Barakat nominated her to participate in the film “Lovers Under Twenty.” Her real breakthrough in the world of art came after her participation in the series “Hind and Dr. Noman.”
From here, she continued presenting television series, the most famous of which are:
“The Execution Battalion, Al-Arajoz, Desuki Effendi in the Summer Resort, Concerto in Darb Saada, The Magician, The Factory Girl, Those Who Were Afraid Died, Oh Calm, Oh Transgress.”
Salwa Khattab was chosen as a member of the jury of the Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries 2016.
Personal life
Actress Salwa Khattab married director Osama Girgis Fawzi after a strong love story, where he changed his religion from Christianity to Islam in order to marry her. However, their marriage lasted only 3 years and ended in divorce.
