Rania Youssef began her artistic career as a model and advertising model until she had the opportunity to participate in a small role in the series “The Punishment” in 1993. She then participated in a larger role in the movie “The Fire Survivors” in 1994.

Her real artistic breakthrough came by participating in the series “Hajj Metwally’s Family,” which was the starting point for her to present many artistic works. She had many roles in television dramas, the most important of which were: “My Blood, My Tears, and My Smile,” “Hajj Metwally’s Family,” “Imam al-Maraghi,” “The Yacoubian Building,” “The Stringed String,” “War of Spies,” “Stories and We Live It,” “The People of Cairo,” “Red Lines,” “Friendly Fire,” “Heat Wave,” “The Seven Commandments,” and “Joys.” The dome, Miss Farah, is the kingdom of Satan, illuminated by its people.” She also participated in many cinematic films, including: “Cabaret,” “Dearest Friends,” “Alzheimer,” “One Sahih,” “Ant’s Cry,” “Rakalam,” “Regatta,” and “Min Dahr Ragel.”

Rania Youssef participated in the Miss Egypt competition in 1997 and won first runner-up.

Rania Youssef was chosen as a member of the jury of several art festivals, including the Salé International Festival for Arab Women’s Cinema 2016, and the Sharm El Sheikh Film Festival 2018.

Actress Rania Youssef married 3 times, first to producer Mohamed Mokhtar, and the marriage lasted nearly 12 years, during which she gave birth to her two daughters, Yasmine and Nancy, before separating from him in 2011. She married for the second time to businessman Karim El-Shabrawy. The third marriage was to businessman Tariq Azab and lasted 6 years.
