An Egyptian artist whose full name is Nabila Mohamed Ahmed Obaid. She was born on January 21, 1945 in the Shubra neighborhood in Cairo. For a family consisting of three sisters, she was ranked in the middle.

 


Her father worked as director of the Statistics and Census Authority. I graduated from Abbasiya Girls College. She also received an honorary doctorate from the University of Wales. She was known as "Egypt's first star."

 


Nabila Obaid began her artistic career in 1961, when director Atef Salem discovered her while she was still a university student.

 


He chose her to play the role of a silent extra in the movie “There Is No Understanding.” Then she got her first absolute starring role in 1963, through the film Rabaa Al-Adawiya, directed by Niazi Mustafa.
