Ahmed Mekky began his artistic career in 2001, participating in small roles in the films “Ibn Ezz, Tito, Morgan Ahmed Morgan, and Baby Doll Night.” Until he played his first starring role in the movie “H Daboor” in 2008, followed by several other films that achieved great success, such as: “You Fly, No Retreat, No Surrender, Sima Ali Baba, Samir Abu El Nil.”
As for television, Ahmed Mekky participated in the series “Shabab Online, Tamer and Shawqia,” until he starred greatly in the series “Al-Kabir Awi” with its seven parts. He also participated in the series “Khalsana Bishaka, The Choice”.
In addition to acting, Ahmed Mekky has written many films such as: “The Seventh Sense,” “You Fly,” and “No Retreat, No Surrender.” He also directed the films “Original Japanese,” “The Seventh Sense” and the series “Critical Moments.”
He also excelled in composing and singing rap songs individually in his artistic works or as video clips, until he released his first album in 2012, entitled “Originally Arabic.” Among his most famous songs are “Good Guys,” “A Stop at the Corner of the Past,” “Facebook,” “Turn by Yourself,” “Qatr Al-Hayat,” “More Precious Than Rubies,” of Arabic origin, and “Lana.”
Personal life
The artist Ahmed Makki is the younger brother of the artist Enas Makki. He was married to a businesswoman who owned a chain of famous beauty centers, and they had a son named “Adham.” However, they separated in 2017.
