Biography

 

An Egyptian actor, whose full name is Ahmed Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed. Born on December 30, 1955, in Alexandria Governorate.

 

He obtained a bachelor's degree from the College of Commerce and then joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts.

 

He began his artistic career by acting on the university stage, before joining the work at the Vanguard Theater in 1976. His artistic fame came after his brilliance in presenting television drama through many series, including:

 

“Al-Wasiyah, Al-Mal and Al-Banoun, Wolves of the Mountain, Al-Mutawali Gate, part 2, in Our House is a Man, Love and the Flood, Who Doesn’t Love Fatima?, Haret Al-Mahrousa, One Thousand and One Nights, The Hilalya Biography, Souq Al-Asr, Al-Bahar Mandi, Mala’ib Shiha, Imam Muhammad Abdo, Boys and Girls, Five-Star Neighborhood, Dead Right, I Want a Man, The Godfather, In La La Land, Hand Cuffs, My Share and Your Divide, Al-Maddah, Surra Al-Bata’.

 

Despite his brilliance on television, he had a few appearances in cinema, through films such as:

 

“Farewell, Bonaparte,” “The Rioters on Half-Year Vacation,” “The Collar and the Bracelet,” “Birjawan Alley,” “The Law Does Not Know Love,” “The Spy Hikmat Fahmy,” “Blood After Midnight,” Love from three sides” “The detainee.”

 

In addition to acting, Ahmed Abdel Aziz also works in the field of theater directing, as he directed nearly 20 plays, including “The Tragedy of Al-Hallaj.” He now holds the position of Director General of the National Theater.

 

Ahmed Abdel Aziz participated in one film that was included in the list of the 100 best films in the history of Egyptian cinema according to the critics’ poll, which is the film “The Ring and the Bracelet”, which ranked number 20.
