Raghda began her artistic career in Syria, but her fame began in Egypt after she appeared for the first time in the series “The Spoilers on the Earth” in 1973. After that, she continued to present many dramatic works in the series “One Thousand and One Nights,” “The Edge of the Abyss,” “The Flood,” and “Yesterday Never Dies.”, the western land, the closed circles, the doubt, the apparent.”
Raghda's artistic works also varied between films and plays. Her first cinematic work was the film "Who Extinguishes the Fire." After that, she participated in a group of famous films such as “The Borders, Sinai Lions, Crab, The Emperor, 85 Felonies, Estacoza, Girl from Israel, and Underground Hell.”
On stage, she performed distinguished plays, including: “Salome,” “Bodyguard,” “Untold Stories,” “Sheherazade,” and “Bilqis.”
In addition to acting, Raghda was known for being creative in writing poetry, and she published more than one poetry collection, such as: “Seasons of Love, A Girl’s Diary.”
Personal Life
In the early 1990s, the artist Raghda married the famous carpet merchant Abdullah Al-Kahhal, and she had three children with him: Buthaina, Tamima, and Muhammad. But this marriage did not last long, as she separated from him because he refused to let her travel to Iraq, where she was the coordinator of the popular delegation that traveled to Iraq to break the siege.
