We note that there are artistic works that talk about the father in Egyptian cinema, but they are very few compared to the works that talk about the mother.
This matter raised the question of many viewers and critics as well: Why is there no celebration of the father in our Eastern society, unlike Western societies? Some of them attributed the reason to the fact that the role of the mother is the strongest in the Egyptian family and Eastern society in general, as she is the one who raises the children, supervises their education, and takes care of their health. Their daily needs, in addition to managing the home and various family affairs, while the father’s role is often limited to working and saving money.
