Hanan lives with her father, a drummer, and her stepmother, a pimp, Safia Zamblik, who wants to make her a dancer. Hanan tries to escape from them, but the morality police arrest her late at night on suspicion. Hanan tells her painful story to Captain Mahmoud, who sympathizes with her. When he is convinced of what she said, he decides to help her. Over time, Mahmoud falls in love with Hanan. But he fears society's view of the social difference between them. Things get complicated when Mahmoud discovers that his brother Sherif has also fallen in love with Hanan. Will he defend his love for her by abandoning her?
